1983 Buick Riviera

We are pleased to offer this 1983 Buick Riviera Convertible for consideration. This was the first convertible GM made since the Eldorado in 1976. All of them were send to American Sun Roof (ASC) in Lansing, Michigan where the top was removed, structure strengthened, and the final assembly of the top mechanism, rear seat, and interior was finished. Only 1,750 convertibles were made in 1983. These cars had a lot of interest, but did not sell many due to the price tag infringing upon Cadillac territory. However, thirty years later you can easily see the result of production with high quality and durability in mind.

The Riviera is powered by a large 5.0L V8. It's part of the front wheel drive generation of the Riviera's. The car is in excellent condition inside and out. It's a very nice summer driver for the whole family. It's a very easy, comfortable drive with a reliable engine. This is a really neat example of a generation of high quality GM platforms.
