1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

This 1969 Camaro offered features one older restoration performed in the mid 80's and has been enjoyed since. The body features all NOS parts including Fenders, Rockers, Cowl Hood, Frond and rear lower valance panels and inner wheel houses. The paint is older and still shows quite nice which testifies to the quality of the restoration which is now 25 plus years old.
This X44 code Camaro was restored at that time to emulate the legendary Z-28 possess many of its features. The dark blue metallic paint, cowl hood, spoiler, stripe package and badging is correct to a Z-28. According to the owner, the motor, although being an earlier Chevy small block (283) was completely rebuilt, balanced and blueprinted to give the car the Z28 performance one would expect. The block was aligned, decked squared, chamfered, debured and bore to .060 over. It was fortified with a steel crank, NOS Hi performance rods, 8 inch Z28 specific harmonic balancer, windage tray, TRW pistons cut to 11:3 compression, GM performance Cam, lifters, Winters intake, Holly Dual feed 750CFM carb, custom resized rods, Crane Roller rockers, Vasco valve springs, The heads have been ported and polished for performance etc…all done at the skilled hands of Pfeiffer's Engine Service of Freeport, Il. The Drive train consists of a 4 speed Muncie transmission with a Street and Strip 3200 lb clutch and pressure plate, Lakewood Scattershield, Custom built and balanced drive shaft by Drive Line in Dubuque, IA hooked to a 4:10 posi rear end. It also has a GM Wiring Harness, 4 core Radiator, and dual exhaust.
