1931 Ford Model A

Introduced in 1927, Fords Model A was a worthy successor to the proven Model T. The car definitely showed progress in design and drivability and soon would be the best selling car in America with nearly 2 million variations of the Model A sold within the first six months of production. Slight design changes in 1930 and 1931 would launch the vehicle into timeless iconic status all while setting new standards for reliability and longevity.

The 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Rumble Seat Roadster offered here is just out of a long term private collection. Although remaining highly the vehicle did receive a selective style restoration over 25 years ago including paint and interior upholstery in its original color combination of Kewanee Green with black fenders, Elkpoint Green belt, quarter and sill molding with Apple Green Stripe and Straw wheels. The interior and rumble seat feature newer brown Naugahyde material. Mechanically the car features its 201 ci inline 4 cylinder engine fed by its original Zenith Carb, 3-speed transmission.

Today, the car still remains highly original featuring excellent mechanicals and drivability. The paint is showing its age but remains very presentable and the bumpers, dash and bright-work complete and unrestored as well as the original chassis and underside. This Model A Deluxe Rumble Seat Roadster still offers much enjoyment to its next owner and is ready for any open country touring or parade event.
