1988 Porsche 944 Turbo

Complete documentation from day one with window sticker and receipts totaling over $100,000 invested by two owners. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this one of a kind 944 Turbo street/track car. Built in Neckarsulm, Germany, it was originally sold new at Champion Motors Porsche Audi in Pompano Beach, Florida on 2/12/88 for $40,408. After being enjoyed for a few years, it was then transformed into a no expense spared, weekend track car with a bolt in roll cage (removable), aluminum racing seats with 5-point harnesses, suspension and brake modifications.

Further upgrades within the last 4,000-5,000 miles include a Lindsey Racing engine build, Elephant Racing Monoballs coupled with Koni adjustable yellows and limited slip differential transaxle rebuild. This Harm Lagaay designed, internally coded 951 Porsche, was specifically built into a reliable, durable track car that has always been street legal. The motor has new pistons, steel liners, connecting rods balanced and blueprinted, windage ports, time serts on 12mm main studs and cross drilled and balanced crankshaft. With limited track time since the rebuild and mostly road miles the car still feels and presents like a fresh build.

In '88, the 944 Turbo was rated for 217hp and weighed 2,932lbs. With the performance upgrades it has received, it is now estimated to produce 300hp and weigh roughly 2,800lbs. This improved power-to-weight ratio 951 coupled with upgraded Frozen slotted rotors, S4 calipers and Pagid Orange pads is sure to appease stopping or moving out. Keep in mind this has been enjoyed as a track vehicle so the original paint is not perfect. But has been garage kept and it is exceptionally well maintained to bring out a better experience on the way to the track or on it.
