It is registered with the SAAC and has a full Marti report verifying it is a true Shelby GT500 and 1 of 527 finished in Dark Moss Green. It originally was sold new at Carey Paul Ford in Decatur, GA in the spring of '67 with an MSRP of $4,195 with $356.23 in options bringing the total to $4,551.23 which is equivalent to $32,238.89 in 2014. It is verified as # 1,801 of the 2,048 GT500s built for '67. Documentation shows that the car was purchased by the 3rd owner and brought home to Kingston, WA in 1995. The 4th, and current owner, then purchased it in the fall of 2000 and brought it to Michigan where it has been meticulously well kept and maintained the past 14 years.

It came out of the San Jose, CA plant and was the 92,851st Mustang produced for the year on April 11, 1967, twenty-two days behind schedule. It also came with the following options: Extra cooling package, courtesy light group, fold down rear seat, power steering, power front disc brakes, interior décor group A, shoulder harness, AM push-button radio, rallye stripes, and a heavy duty battery.

Following the restoration, the 3rd owner maintained the vehicle and the 4th owner had R&A Engineering in Manchester, MI do a full repaint in 2002, 2yrs after purchasing it. There are 22 photos of this repaint as well as pages of documentation and receipts and it has been maintained mechanically and cosmetically by R&A Engineering since.

Tasteful modifications include a full exhaust with headers and Flowmaster mufflers and a Kenwood radio. Included are multiple sets of keys, the owner's manual signed by Carroll Shelby, extra set of taillight lenses, extra paint and decals, a cover, the original radio, and all of the numerous pages of documentation. This is truly a rolling masterpiece with just over 37,000 original documented miles. Do not pass up this opportunity to own one of the most sought after collector cars on the planet!
