The Firebird Trans-Am, as well as the other models of the time, faced tough government restrictions in the early 70's. Most makes backed off and went in different directions, but Pontiac fought “the man” at every turn. The Trans Am in the late 70's was the pop culture muscle car because of this reason and very popular collector cars today.
This '78 Trans Am received a frame-on restoration that was completed in 2012. It was repainted in its original Cameo White paint with new decals and Carmine cloth interior. It's powered by the original 400ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It features an aftermarket radio, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, new headliner, new battery, new rotors, new radiator, new water pump, and a rebuilt alternator.
