1979 Ford Granada

When's the last time you saw a clean Ford Granada? New on the showroom floor perhaps? Well 35 years later, this 1979 model is probably the closet you can get to new condition. The Granada was introduced in 1975 as an intended replacement for the Maverick but with the 1973 energy crisis, the fuel-efficient Maverick remained and Ford produced both cars. The Maverick was marketed as an entry-level and the Granada as an upscale model with features normally reserved for the Torino and LTD and thus, Ford marketed the Granada as a direct competitor of the Mercedes-Benz 280 of the time!

This Granada is a 2 owner car with the first ownership dating 1979-2003 in Washington and the second in Michigan from 2003-present. The odometer reads just over 73,000 miles and is verified to be original with the numerous receipts and fuel mileage slips retained over the years. It features a 4.1L Inline 6 engine matted to an automatic transmission, power steering, A/C, heat, a bench seat with armrest, and original radio. The car is not perfect but it is in good condition on the exterior and very good condition on the interior. The exterior was recently treated to an in-depth paint revitalization and shines brightly. The car comes with the original owner's manual, original keys, and a large packet full of receipts and documentation.
