1966 AC Cobra

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1966 AC Cobra replica. It is a Superformance Cobra built in 2008 to a very high degree of quality finished in the traditional LeMans Blue with White stripes. The PPG paint laid on the hand laminated fiberglass body is of show quality with subtle metal flake in it. This Cobra roars to life with a Roush 402ci V8 complete with a Holly 770cfm carb, Edelbrock dual plane manifold, MSD ignition, and K&N air filter. Power is transferred via a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission with a limited slip rear end and it all sits on a heavy duty TIG welded lader frame chassis. This example features a fully independent front and rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, Willwood 4-wheel vented disc brakes with 4-piston calipers, ceramic coated long tube headers with sidepipes, aluminum single core radiator with dual fans, oil cooler with braided lines, 17 gallon stainless steel gas tank, BF Goodrich T/A tires on aluminum pin drive Halibrand 15" wheels.

The interior features black leather seats, Lucas switches, Smith instrumentation gauges, a Moto-Lita Cobra wood wheel, heater, defroster, 2-speed wipers, locking glove box, original style pedals, original style shifter, fully carpeted trunk, polished stainless steel roll bar, and a Monza style locking gas cap. This Cobra was built as a dream car as and it has been driven 10,040 miles since completion in 2008, and it still shows near new. The performance of this car is amazing featuring ground pounding acceleration, and wonderfully balanced handling. The car is documented with a spreadsheet of service records, many receipts, soft top with side windows and tonneau cover, and has the owner's manual.
