It's been recognized and argued as the best year of the Beetle. It was the first year for the near 1500cc engine, first year for 12-volt electrics, first year for the standard upright headlights, and what would end up being the last year for the smaller bumpers and painted dash. There are many one year only parts on the '67 model year, especially the US spec versions and all of these attributes have made it the most recognizable and desirable Beetles out there.
This specific model had been fully restored from previous owners before it was purchased so the history of the restoration is unknown, however, it is in excellent running condition, has been professionally restored inside and out and is a show-ready vehicle from top to bottom! With new wheels and tires, fully functioning headlights, wipers, radio, turn signals, this vehicle is more than ready to see the road again! The beautifully restored red interior looks completely new with all the nostalgia you could ask for from the driver seat. Not many of this year have had this much attention to detail done to it and the value of craftsmanship cannot be overstated!
