For the 4th generation of the Fairlane moniker, Ford moved the line to a mid-size offering to compete with the GM A-body. While the platform produced several different variations, the Hardtop Sport Coupe here was an exciting edition to enter the muscle car fray.
This '63 Fairlane is a pro-street coupe that is a complete beast. This car features a lot of professional work to make it a very intimidating tarmac carving machine. It is powered by a 347 V8 Boss stroker longblock engine with a Paxton Supercharger Novi 1200 kit paired with a LenTech Street Bruiser AOD transmission. This car features: new aluminum radiator, high output water pump, rack & pinion steering, coil over shocks, upper & lower tubular arms, anti-sway bar, power 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, custom Montecarlo support frame, B & M quick shift, custom 2 ½” exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, Pro-Systems 950 cfm carburetor, MSD Ignition, March pulley system, drive shaft safety loop, 9” rear end, Detroit Truetrac Helical gears 3:73, custom torsion bars, 20 gallon stainless steel gas tank with baffles, Edelbrock air gap aluminum intake, American Racing Wheels, Legacy gauges, Lecarr steering wheel, JC CD player/stereo, and much more.
