1967 Ford Galaxie 500

Although the Galaxie was introduced in 1959, the 1965 model was an all-new design, featuring vertically stacked dual head lights which were becoming the new rage among designers. Galaxies were produced in a variety of ways from full-blown racing variants to the stripped down commuter models with 6-cylinder engines.

These highly popular cars were the competition to the Chevrolet Impala. In 1967 only subtle changes were made from the padded center of the steering wheel along with energy-absorbing steering columns.

This absolutely stock and original Galaxie that we are pleased to present was bought new in Iowa in 1967 where it remained until 1978. At that time it was given to another family member where it has remained ever since. Always 100% covered in a garage getting adequate exercise as needed. This car runs and drives perfect with everything in working order. The paint has obvious blemishes due to its age however still shows very nice. The interior is near perfect and all the trim and bright work are excellent as well.

The original steel wheels with wheel covers are available with repair receipts. Only things done except for fluid changes are brakes, radiator, starter and solenoid.
