1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT

The Mitsubishi 3000GT, originally known and produced in Japan by Mitsubishi Motors as the “GTO”, was produced between years 1990-2001. The purpose for rebadging those models sent to North America was due to the already popular Ferrari 250 GTO and Pontiac GTO, and so for Dodge they rebadged it as the Stealth and for their own brand they badged it as a 3000GT in fear that connoisseurs would object to it otherwise. This model was a technologically advanced 2+2 seater sports coupe produced to compete with the Honda NSX, Mazda RX-7 and Toyota Supra and did so more successfully in the United States. This was mainly due to the soft market in Japan at the time, and although it may have come in just under its competitors in price, it held its own very well in the performance side with a seedy 3.0L DOHC Twin Turbo power plant matched with the 6-speed overdrive manual transmission.
