Oldsmobile had their own A-body muscle car to go along with the Chevelle, GTO, and Gran Sport for the height of the muscle car era. In 1972, the 442 returned to an option package as some buyers wanted to be more conservative with rising gas prices and insurance rates. However, properly equipped examples (like this one) were still classic muscle examples that will get anyone's heart pumping behind the wheel. These classics are known for their styling, performance, reliability, and availability of parts making them a great investment and a ton of fun.
This particular model shows very well from outside with its metallic blue exterior matched to perfection with white stripes and vinyl roof. With a great set of wheels painted blue to match, a good amount of work completed on the interior and the mechanicals being in great condition as well, this is sure to bring enjoyment and pride from its next owner! This model is believed to originate from North Carolina and has been restored around 10 years ago. With what appears to be original engine and transmission, this vehicle pulls nearly 370 hp and shows to have new intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor and an Erson camshaft. The interior is in driver shape with a white vinyl interior, original looking dash and panels and with an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette media center installed for its next owner to enjoy.
