1988 Ford Bronco II

Ford took a risk on going after a market that desired a smaller SUV, now very common and one of the highest selling markets. Ford proved that people enjoyed and wanted something smaller than the larger full size SUV's and their thirsty V8's and significant size. The Bronco II had a successful run and put Ford back in the hunt with GMC and Chevy. Sharing many components with its smaller Ranger pickup it was able to retain a good cross over between rugged off road abilities and the demands of the family around town.

This very clean Bronco II has been well cared for and runs and drives very nicely. The XLT package is a nice upgrade from the standard XL model and gives some great features that were rare on a SUV. Chrome bumpers, 15in wheels, power windows and locks, A/C, cruise control, tilt wheel, roof rack, rear wiper, bucket front seats, lumbar support, split rear seat, cargo cover, and rear mounted spare tire were some of the highlights. This car is believed to have only two previous owners and well maintained and stored properly when not in use. Recent service includes A/C service, new front brakes, air filter, fuel pump, transmission service, brake fluid flushed and filled and tires show some decent tread on them. Newer stereo has been mounted, but not hooked up yet.

We believe the market is strong on these types of SUV's and past sales have approached numbers in the high teens and low twenty's. Clean, stock and no signs of rust Bronco II's are nearly impossible to find and with only 78k miles, a very smart buy. Car is fun to drive and for sure will bring you back once you get behind the wheel. Many more miles are left to be explored with this great SUV.
