The K5 Blazer, was introduced by Chevrolet in 1969. It was designed and marketed to compete with International Harvester's Scout and Ford's Bronco. The edge the Blazer had above its rivals was to simply offer a shorted pickup truck, which both increased interior space, and lowered cost of production with a shared platform. The success of the Blazer prompted GMC, to offer its own version of the truck, The Jimmy. The Blazers and Jimmy's ruled the newly created SUV market for two decades and today remain a favorite choice of vintage 4X4 enthusiasts all over North America.

The GMC Jimmy High Sierra offered here is a great example of a well-cared for and mostly original setup. This early SUV is in remarkable condition and has some very tasteful upgrades done to give the vehicle a beefier look. The High Sierra option was the top of the line that gave you many nice upgrades and more features. These trucks also came with the famous 350 V8 that is dependable and powerful. Full time four wheel drive option was also part of the package that allowed you to shift in and out of 4x4 without worrying about locking the front hubs.

This vehicle was believed to come out of California and spent majority of its life there until recently being acquired by us. Vehicle appears to be rust free throughout and has clean paint and miles are believed to be accurate. Vehicle has many nice upgrades with the 4in lift kit and new shocks, brakes and tires. The 33in BF Goodrich tires are a very nice touch and represent the vehicle well. Cold A/C works nicely and all gauges and lights are functioning properly during our test drive. Dual exhaust gives the vehicle a nice bark, but pleasant. Chrome push bar compliment the exterior along with the front sun visor and rear spoiler. Vehicle comes with original owner's manual, brochure and option sticker on glove box. Features on the vehicle include; tilt wheel, full gauge package, 5.7L 350 V8, automatic transmission, rear seat, A/C, two tone paint, locking differential, folding rear seat, electric rear window, automatic speed control, white removable hard top.

A great opportunity is available here to the speculator for investment purpose or the person that wants a fun and reliable SUV that is different than the masses. Drive, enjoy, and take a drive on the wild side!
