Back in 2000, GM North American Chairman Bob Lutz read a Car and Driver article praising the Australian (GM made) Holden Commodore SS while wondering why a similar car wasn't offered here in the United States. Years later, the Commodore essentially appeared as a Ponitac G8 to bring excitement to a car you could commute with every day. The G8 GT is the closest thing GM offers to get Corvette like performance in sedan form. These cars are a lot of fun that you can drive even though you have to drop the kids off at school in the morning or actually fit some golf clubs in.

This 2009 G8 GT is a one-owner awesome driver that was delivered new to James Wood Pontiac in Denton, Texas. A job transfer brings this beauty to Michigan and it is offered here for sale for the first time. The G8 GT is well tuned power with the 6.0L V8 SFI engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.
