In 1952, automotive manufacturer Kaiser moved their Manhattan name from the nameplate to the model and was given many different exterior looks which made it more consistent with the rest of the brand. One of the more noticeable designing touches was the pronounced dip which adorned the center of the windshield and rear glass. Also easy to notice was the grill which had more of a simple top bar which curved around the front fenders. Moving forward, the convertible was discontinued, the club coupe and sedan were added and the Traveler configuration could now be ordered for those looking for extra storage. The prices of the model dropped considerably as the production number rose and more importantly, the McCulloch supercharger became standardized and added to the old flathead six pushing the total output of 140 hp.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this highly unmolested example of the 1954 Kaiser Manhattan Club Coupe for your consideration. With features being limited in availability, this car was graced with all the goodies you could get from the factory including the clock, the radio and even the supercharged flathead 6 cylinder which Is not only in good mechanical shape but believed to be the original engine to the car as well!
