1977 International Scout II

The International Harvester Scout was built from 1961-1980, saw many changes and redesigns throughout and was built to be competitive with the Jeep Wrangler. The goal to produce a successful off-road vehicle proved to be worthwhile and they went on to make such designs as a two-door truck with options for a half cab pickup or, similar to the Jeep, a removable hard or soft top. A precursor of what was coming for the SUV realm and started with a fold-down windshield. The Scout and second generation Scout II were built right out of Fort Wayne, Indiana and although not many are left on the road, the ones which are have seen great work performed to bring them back to life due to their growing popularity and wonderful capabilities.
