Triumph TR6 was produced from 1968 to 1976 and featured a design contracted from Karmann. The cues allowed for the TR6 to sport squared front and back ends, which were referred to as the Kamm tail, which was very common in the 70's. Though most of the bodywork for the TR6 is the same as the TR5, the squaring off of the front and rear fascia's made all of the difference for the car. The TR6 sold well in America, offering the authentic British Roadster experience to many happy owners during the 8-year production run. Almost 90% of those made were exported, fueled largely by strong US sales.

We are pleased to offer this Pimento red, 1976 Triumph TR 6. This enthusiast owned TR 6 remains highly original with an older repaint and the seat and door upholstery was replaced some time ago in fawn beige and a newer matching soft top. The car is powered by its proven 2.5 liter inline 6 cylinder engine fed the TR6's signature dual Stromberg Carbs and intake, 4 speed transmission and rear wheel drive. Highlights include wood steering wheel, wood shift knob, excellent original dash, excellent wood, stock air cleaner, full size spare, matching convertible top boot, and original gauges. At just 67296 miles, this TR6 is a hoot to drive as it the motor runs great, the transmission shifts excellent in all gears, great acceleration, responsive handling and excellent braking. Cosmetically, the older repaint shows very nice in all areas, the interior remains very tidy, the motor compartment remains stock and sharp and the dry original pans, frame and rockers are surely the highlight of this TR. Recent services include: tires, suspension kit, carb rebuild, differential seal, distributer vacuum advance, damper assembly etc.

The Triumph TR6 is making its move in the collector car arena and values are trending upwards. With a thriving TR6 community and strong parts availability, the TR6 is a sound choice when looking for an investment grade vehicle that can be maintained and nurtured with relative ease.
