1989 BMW 325i

The E30 platform design started in 1978 and was produced from 1982 to 1993 in a two and four door variants along with a convertible and later on a wagon was offered. Only one major design, engine and safety change happened in 1987. This is also when the wagon was offered for the first time.

The car gained some popularity after the February 2011 “Top Gear” Appearance. The show contained a challenge to purchase a reliable 4-seat convertible under $5000, in which all three presenters chose a E30 325 convertible. BMW also designed a all wheel drive system that was implemented in the E30 called the X-drive and they also fitted a diesel engine that ultimately did not last.

This fantastic little 325i has been well maintained and operates as it should. It starts, runs and drives very nice with all components in good working order. It has good brakes and tires and is ready to be enjoyed. Excellent reliability at a great cost.
