1986 Chevrolet K-10

The third generation of C/K line pick up truck by General Motors and Chevrolet lasted almost 15 years. They are also known by enthusiasts as the “Square Body” and quite arguably the best real trucks ever built. There were two types of beds to choose from in a short and long wheel base, the fleetside or step side and a variety of trim options as well.

This particular K10 Silverado was sold new in North Carolina and remained in the Carolinas until middle of last year. No snow or salt makes this a very solid truck. This K10 was originally blue and has been repainted a couple times and the clear coat is peeling off the hood and top of the cab. A few small areas of surface rust but all in all a very clean and no rot anywhere. The original engine has been replaced with a big block 7.4 liter. This is a highly optioned truck from the factory with A/C and the camper package.

The engine runs very strong and the Transmission is brand new. It starts, runs and drives down the road as you would imagine and shifts in to four wheel drive as it should. This will make someone a great driver or a perfect candidate for a restoration.
