2003 Chevrolet Corvette

Introduced in 1997, the “C5” generation Corvette was a radical styling departure from the angular C4s. In addition to looking more contemporary, the C5 featured General Motors latest technology including drive-by-wire throttle, variable-effort steering and optional magnetic selective ride control suspension. With an all aluminium LS1 5.7l V8 and lightweight composite bodywork the C5 offered performance on par with contemporary Ferraris and Aston Martins. A 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a 13.3 second quarter mile mean this Corvette still packs a punch.
This 2003 Corvette convertible is in excellent condition and features anniversary badges to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Corvette. Finished in a stunning shade of Millennium Yellow over black leather, just 1,151 convertibles were produced in this combination in 2003. The body and paintwork are in excellent shape and the black leather interior features a crack free dash. This car features a 5.7l V8 producing 350hp and 360lb-ft mated to a 6-speed Borg-Warner manual transmission. Only a third of the convertibles produced in 2003 featured the performance oriented manual transmission, with most being fitted with the carryover 4-speed automatic. Staggered 17 and 18 inch wheels with Michelin tires installed in 2015 have lots of tread left. Other features include power 4-wheel disc brakes, limited slip differential, “warm nickel metallic” aluminium wheels, power windows, dual zone air conditioning, traction control, power driver and passenger seats, heads-up display, cruise control, 12 disc CD changer, power telescoping wheel, owners manual and two sets of keys with keyless entry.
