GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1929 Ford Model AA truck for your consideration. Henry Ford's T and TT became obsolete and to stay in the game Ford had to act fast. The AA featured a heavier frame and bigger rear leaf springs and a transmission that had Hi and Low gears allowing extra power and torque for hauling heavy loads. The wheels and tires are bigger than the standard 19 inch wheels on a normal Model A. The truck features heavy duty 20 inch wire wheels.
The current owner bought this truck 10 years ago at an estate auction and brought in home in boxes and bushel baskets. The truck was a literal basket case at this point. Over the next 10 years it was brought back to its original form. The truck has been restored and is in beautiful condition. The truck fires right up and operates as it should. The wood on the stake bed is all new and has a fresh coat of varnish on it and shows well. The body shows well as does the interior. This truck is a blast to drive and is ready for the next owner to love and use it.
