1976 Triumph TR6 Convertible

The TR6 was built from 1968 through 1976 with body design by Karmann of Germany. They had limited budget for development but managed to pull it off in my opinion. The new removable hard top was designed in house by Triumph and was only available as an option. This particular really nice “driver” quality TR6 has been lovingly owned by the same owner for almost forty years. The paint and top are around thirty years old but honestly the soft top looks new. The paint is a really good 10 footer, while the interior appears to be largely original and in good condition with no rips or tears in the seats or dash. Other than the fuel guage being a little off, the rest of the gauges work well. The car starts really easy with the manual choke and idles pretty quickly after. It sounds good, shifts good and goes down the road like many other TR6's I have driven. It comes with a tonneau cover, boot cover and car cover along with several other misc. tune up parts that have been collected over the years as well as mechanic books specific to the TR6. The underside looks like a lot of other TR6's that have been driven, a little crusty. In my opinion, this is a very nice driver at a very reasonable price. Summer is around the corner!
