1988 TVR Roadster

From the very few TVR's I have seen, this one is one of the better ones by far. Starting with the first question that is always raised, “How is the underside”? “How bad is it”? Well, the underside is quite superb if you ask me, free of any corrosion or rot. This S1 was purchased a couple of years ago and was most exclusively serviced by Louwman exclusive cars in the Netherlands and imported in to the states by our consignor. Not only did this car receive a full frame off restoration, it was also professionally converted to LHD using all TVR parts. The headlight units were also replaced along with the K-jet-ronic distributor and starter. Most importantly the cooling was improved with thanks of a custom radiator with electric fan. This appears to be a few owner from new with the second owner having the car for 14 years. This TVR comes with all of its service paperwork along with import paperwork along with duty/tax info. In addition, this also comes with a full appraisal like folder for when the car was to be shipped. This is the first TVR we have had in here in our Traverse City location and it is always fun and exciting to see something different. This car is in really good mechanical order with easy starting, quick and smooth idle, nice shifting and brakes. The 2.8 Liter has a wonderful throaty sound and it pushes the car down the road with ease. The convertible top is in good condition with nice usability.
