Some upgrades to this GT500 include StainlessWorks headers, high flow cats, H pipe, RPS GT500 billet twin-disc clutch, RPS 2.4 Mustang release Bearing, and adapter, JLT big air intake, Ford Racing throttle body, 2.6 Mecto pulley, Ford Racing lowering springs, and custom tune. This Shelby was the top dog of the Mustangs when it was produced with mind-blowing hp numbers from the factory. The Ford racing team made this 330ci motor to crank out 500hp from the factory, the main competitor with the Camaro Z28. This was Fords last year of this body style before updating in 2010. The three years this Shelby was in production it was a collaboration between SVT and Carroll Shelby, manufactured in Flat Rock, Michigan.
