In 1940, the Ford Pickup trucks got a fresh styling makeover that resembled the cars for the 1st time since the Model A days. Many people believe this is one of the best-looking pickups ever made. It featured passenger car front end styling, fender-integrated headlights with egg-shaped rims, and a vertical-bars grille. The cab was strengthened and altered for its classic look yet while still remaining a tough, capable daily pickup truck.
This example is powered by a 350 V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The owner acquired the truck 6 years ago and has used it for car shows and enjoyment ever since. Highlights include front disc brakes, ghost flames, new wood in the box along with a custom wood storage box, appears to be all steel body, neat and tidy cloth interior with bucket seats, Kenwood CD, Edelbrock intake and carburetor. The truck is ready for immediate enjoyment.
