1957 Volkswagen Beetle

The Beetle that we have offered here recently came out of the hands of a true enthusiast. In 1996 the car was purchased by a couple that carefully restored the car. Only doing what had to be done. This car was a great car to start with as it was still solid and still held most of its original parts including the engine and what is believed to be the original transmission. They used mostly Wolfsburg West parts to re-do the interior and other odds and ends. The car was re-painted to its original color of “prairie beige”. After restoration in 1996 the car ran the VW show circuit through MI, IN, IL and OH through 2002 where it received many awards. Since then it does not look like it has traveled many miles.
