1978 Porsche 911 SC

The debut of a new model for any manufacturer is a big deal, but for Porsche this was a big game changer for the company and for the sports car industry. The Porsche 911 has been the longest production vehicle in existence that has retained the name and the authentic body style from the first generation. With the all new 911SC coming to market, it was a significant improvement over it processor. With an upgraded 3.0L that proved to be very dependable and stronger for the additional weight that was added to add some extra creature comforts for the driver and passengers. With a more powerful engine and more torque available to the driver, this car was not only an everyday driver option, but one that begged to be brought out to the track and prove to the driver or anyone chasing it that it was still a 911 and still a Porsche that must be respected!

This gorgeous Olive Green Targa comes to us from 2 previous owners both based out of Colorado where the car was delivered new and received routine Maintenance and even a personal log was kept on every gas fill up, oil change and routine maintenance. The very important Pop off valve was just done, prior to these pictures, as well as the Carrera oil fed chain tensioner upgrade. This was the only major issue with these great engines and this was just completed. The car retains the cork leather interior with some new seat covers on the front at some point. Vehicle has had some tasteful upgrades with the Chrome headlight rings and stereo. Interior is in very nice. Car performs through all 5 gears with ease and responds quickly with the flip of the gas pedal. With the 911 market climbing rapidly, this first year 911SC is not only a solid investment but retains a ton of fun left to be enjoyed.
