1997 Porsche 911 993 Carrera

Pleased to bring to market for only the second time in its life, the highly sought after air cooled 993 Carrera Coupe. Porsche broke the mold after completing the last 993's out of Germany and many wish they never did! From 95-98 Porsche built this iconic 993 Porsche with a style and shape like nothing else and it will never be duplicated. There is a reason why these cars do not depreciate and are being plucked for private collections across the globe. The accented rear fenders that gave a mean and aggressive stance, along with an inspiring sound that could only be duplicated by an air cooled engine that was as raw as the day the first 911's rolled out of the factory. You can argue the newer versions of the 911 are faster, more comfortable, more reliable, and have even better electronics, however you will never be able to convince the Porschephile that any of them compare as a package like the 993.

Sold new in South Carolina to the first owner where he kept the car in a climate controlled environment and received routine service without ever being abused or left for Mother Nature to do her abuse on a vehicle. Periodically the car was sent to the owner's winter home in the eastern part of Tennessee where it breathed the warm Smokey Mountain air and stayed far from the salt or snow of the Midwest. Less than a year ago a very good client of ours purchased and performed some basic service that included; new battery, power steering rack, all new plugs and wires, new belts, valve cover gaskets replaced, air filter, new driver seat power seat cable, fresh fluids and oil filters and air filter – pretty much the 60k mile service and some extras. As any great collector, he has moved onto another project and we are delighted to bring to the market in search of its next new owner.

This car was ordered with many factory options and carried a hefty price tag compared to others that were sold in the late 90's. Factory options include and are documented by VIN tag; illuminated foot well, door storage compartment lights, leather covered CD storage, stainless steel oval tailpipes, stainless steel door sills with “Carrera” script, aluminum instrument dials with brushed rings, heated seats, full power driver seat with power lumbar support, locking differential, rear luggage compartment, automatic LSD, 18in turbo twist wheels, colored Porsche crest in wheels, rear wiper, cruise control, and Hi-Fi Stereo with CD. As you can tell this isn't the base version but one that had a healthy wallet to back up the long list of special options. Vehicle comes with newer tires, both keys and remotes, books, and clean CarFax.

This car runs and drives with perfection and performs without hesitation.
