1967 Pontiac GTO

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1967 Pontiac GTO Hard Top Coupe! This is a real deal VIN 242 GTO that is a 3-owner beauty. The car originally was Signet Gold with a Parchment interior and an Ivory vinyl top, a 400ci V8, and a 4-speed. Now it is a deep purple color called Black Plum with a black interior and a black vinyl top. But now stuffed under the hood is a non-numbers matching balanced and blue printed 455ci bored .030 over to 463ci with dual quad carbs making an estimated 450hp matted to a Super T-10 4-speed transmission. The original numbers matching 400ci V8 does come with the car though!

The car underwent a full in-depth restoration in 2010 with the body receiving most of the work to get it laser straight. The body work involved replacing both rear quarter panels, the trunk and braces, lower A-Pillars, some of the floor pan, lower front fenders, rocker panels, and lower door skins. The car also received a brand new frame, new suspension, and new interior. The dash gauges are now Dakota Digital and the car features power brakes with front discs. The car also has Mickey Thompson drag radials on the back and BF Goodrich radials on the front.

There were 81,722 GTO's produced in '67. 65,176 were produced as Hard Tops (80% of production) and only 13,827 (17% of production) came equipped with the 400ci 335hp engine such as the one this originally came with and that is included in this sale. Don't miss out on this spectacular '67 Goat!
