GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this classic 1949 Dodge Coronet Sedan. This beauty is equipped with the 230ci Flathead 6 cylinder matted to a 4-speed Gyro-Matic Fluid Drive transmission. It originated from Iowa and has been under the meticulous care of the current owner since 1989. This car is in fantastic condition with a repaint in its original Island Green in the mid-80s and the interior is highly original. The chrome is in great shape and the original headlight lenses are still present and in great condition.

1949 was the inaugural year for the top line trim Coronet model and it was Dodge's first new postwar body style. It was capable of 90mph top speeds and being the top of the line model, it received full instrumentation. This Coronet runs and drives very well and everything electrical and mechanical works as designed. The odometer is showing 67,441 miles and it is believe to be original. There is a shop manual and a binder full of documentation for this car over the years. This is a great value for a classic vehicle with this much originality that will be a hit at any car show or cruise-in.
