1989 Jaguar XJS

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this '89 V12 Jaguar XJS Roadster. In 1971 Jaguar introduced its 5.3 liter V12 in its reconfigured E-type bodied sports cars. Later the XJS would prove to be the ultimate Grand Tourer implementing a larger body, more modern appointments and fuel injected 5.3 liter all aluminum V12 power plant.

The XJS offered here presents itself in original condition. This 3 owner example amazingly has only 58,998 miles on the odometer. It features its original gray exterior paint over a luxurious merlot original leather interior that are both in overall acceptable condition. The V12 runs smoothly and quietly and the car drives excellent through all the gears.

Defined as a Luxury Grand Tourer, these cars came fully equipped from the factory with standard options including: power convertible top with matching boot, 4 wheel disc brakes, anti-lock braking system, power rack and pinion steering, leather bound steering wheel with adjustable column, power tinted windows, headed glass rear window, power door locks, automatic temp control, cruise control, trip computer, full leather interior, heated seats with lumbar support, deep pile carpet, full instrument with tachometer, 4-speaker 80 watt AM/AM Cassette player w/ Dolby and power antenna, battery shut-off switch, alarm code security system, door operated security lights, spoke alloy wheels, steel belt radial tires, carpeted rear luggage area, halogen headlamps and fog lamps, heated power wing mirrors, heated windshield washer and roadside assistance plan.

This is originally a Kentucky Jag most of its life and spent a good deal of time in storage. The power top does not work and it does have some small tears in it and will more than likely need replacing and the A/C belt is not hooked up.
