Up for consideration is this 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL sedan. Known internally as the W126, this series of the S-Class is the most popular S-Class on record in terms of units produced and its 12 year production run from 1979-1991 is the longest in Mercedes-Benz history. There were 818,105 sedan versions of the W126 built with only 40,956 (5% of production) receiving the 300SEL designation.

The 177hp 3.0L Inline 6 under the hood is widely known as one of the most built proof engines and able to travel well past 300,000 miles with just regular maintenance. This particular example has roughly 143,000 miles as the gauge cluster was swapped out with another one that reads 99,000 miles. These S-Classes are known for their luxury and they featured every luxury and power options available at the time.
