1947 Ford Club Coupe

We are pleased to offer this classic 1947 Ford Club Coupe Custom Rod. This all steel, purpose built street rod was conceived, planned and assembled by an accomplished and seasoned master technician for his personal collection. The body is an all steel, original 47 ford club coupe outfitted with rack and pinion steering, coil over front suspension and 2 part disc brakes. The motor is a 383 stroker derived from a 4 bolt main block, outfitted with the best internals available including a Cola crank, Oliver Super-Lite rods, Crower lifters and Brodix heads. All precisely assembled, balanced and blue printed achieving 502 hp and 480 ft lbs of torque at the crank. Power is transferred via a built turbo 350 transmission and delivered to a 383 ratio Auburn Posi rear end.

It took over 7 years to complete from conception to finished product ensuring that all components work well together producing and excellent, well balanced driving experience no matter what the conditions. This street rod has proven reliability as it has been in completed form since 2005. The body, paint and stock look interior remain in excellent show condition. With surging popularity in the resto-mod market, vintage style street rods such as this will always remain popular and hold value.
