1965 Dodge Coronet 440

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1965 Dodge Coronet 440 coupe for purchase. The Coronet nameplate reappeared from Dodge on the mid-size offering in 1965 after a long absence. They were available in three trim levels: the Coronet, Coronet 440, and Coronet 500. The main difference was the additional chrome trim and carpeting on the 440 and bucket seats with a center console on the sportier 500. While other Mopar nameplates may resonate more with enthusiasts, the Coronets from 65-67 really helped Dodge establish a name for themselves in the emerging muscle car market.

This Coronet 440 is in excellent condition as it was restored in Atlanta, Georgia in 2011 before spending its life in Tennessee previously. This classic Dodge was restored in 2010 to be very close to stock specifications featuring new engine work, paint, seats, and interior work. The interior with the bench front seat and classic gauges give this car a thorough classic car experience. It is powered by a period correct 361ci V8 engine paired with a rarely found 4-speed manual transmission. This car is in truly excellent condition inside, outside, and underneath.
