1965 Chevrolet Nova

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS for purchase. After the Corvair wasn't the hit they hoped it would be, GM needed a new “compact car” and they rushed the production of the Chevy II with Nova being the name of the top trim level. However, the car is commonly referred to as both names. Unlike the Corvair, this model was much more conventional and much better received. The SS version was introduced as the Super Sport to compete with the V8 Falcons. These cars are very cool classics and pretty rare to find as solid first generation models. Their compact, simple nature make them great cruisers with a little modern sprucing up.
This '65 Nova SS 2-door sedan nicely restored with several modern touches giving the car a great driving experience while maintaining a nostalgic feel. It's powered by a 355ci V8 engine paired with a Chevy turbo 350 automatic transmission. It features dual Weber 660 CFM carburetors, MSD Ignition, 3” Flow Master exhaust, 3000 stall converter, line lock, aluminum radiator, dual quad low rise intake manifold, 3:36 posi rear end, and Hooker super competition headers. These nice upgrades give this car a great classic muscle feel and a great ride down the road. The “nitrous bottle” in the trunk is actually a subwoofer that is part of an aftermarket stereo system. This is a rare body type as out of the 122,800 1965 Chevy II's produced only 9,100 were Super Sports. This car runs & drives great and will not disappoint! Please call or email for more details!
