1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1978 Ford Mustang II King Cobra for purchase. The first generation Mustangs grew and grew and barely resembled the Pony Car it started as until a complete redesign in 1974 as sales with cars like Mavericks were growing. Post-1973 oil crisis the 2nd generation became known as the Mustang II and in 1978 the King Cobra was the highest trim level offered during the run. The logo obviously stands out, but also the V8 and the rare t-top option stand this car out from an already scant field of 4,313 ever built.

This King Cobra is powered by the original 302ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. It was originally sold in Ohio and has largely been used as a fair weather only driver. With the original radio and the original wheels, this car is a really nice opportunity to purchase a largely unmolested example of a very rare car.
