1969 Ford Thunderbird

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1969 Ford Thunderbird Coupe for purchase. The Thunderbird's fifth generation brought the second major change in the car's design direction since its debut in 1955. With some market overlap with the Ford Mustang, the company decided to move the Thunderbird towards more luxury and upscale buyers. The move worked and Ford sold 10,000 more T-birds than the previous year.

This '69 Thunderbird is a really nice solid car that really shows off the popular 5th generation body style with the “fishmouth” grill and hidden headlights. This car was finished with its restoration about five years ago and has been part of a large collection stored inside. While mostly original in appearance, the car has been lowered and does have shaved door handles. It's powered by the 429ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. It features keyless entry/door handles, hidden (flip) headlights, sequential blinking taillights, dual exhaust, power steering, and power front disc brakes.
