2001 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT

The 2001 Cobra received a few changes from the earlier years. The engine block was changed from Teksid to the Windsor Aluminum Plant, also received different cylinder heads. The transmission was also upgraded. The rear bumper changed this year and instead of saying "mustang" it now says "cobra." The rear badges also changed as did the interior trim and center counsel. The look of the gauges also changed. This year the headlights changed to blackened headlights giving them the smoked out look.

This pony just received several thousand dollars worth of work. $1,700 went into the stereo system alone. The engine,transmission and clutch are brand new with receipts totaling up to thousands more. There are dyno tune papers from Alternative Auto Performance as well.

With the amount of fun that you get out of this car for the money, makes this not only a fun purchase but one that should see prices stable without much depreciation down the road. The interior is clean as is the outside and shows very well.
