1978 Chrysler New Yorker

Not only is the “New Yorker”, Chryslers Flagship model it also made its mark as the longest running American car nameplate.

Now in its 9th Generation of styling the 1974-1978 models were using a massive slab sided body effect called “fuselage” styling that was pretty popular among the big 3's sophisticated cruisers. It almost got to the point of whoever could build the bigger rear quarter panel wins!

The 2-door variants of these highway haulers were definitely the most elegant offering Landau tops, fender skirts and the lack of rear windows. They are elegant as they are big.

This particular gorgeous car is presented in the ever so popular dove gray over gray interior. It is a single owner from new car that has only been used as a summer occasional driver covering just under 38,000 miles from new or just about a 1,000 miles a year. The paint shows excellent as does the extremely comfortable interior. The car was Ziebarted and shows no rust or rot anywhere. Everything works including the A/C.
