1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-60

The Land Cruiser is Toyotas longest running series. It began in 1951 and is still made to this day. It has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon and utility truck versions. It is known worldwide for it's reliability and longevity.
The FJ-60 was produced from 1980 thorough 1989 for most worldwide markets. It retained the rugged off-road characteristics of previous Cruisers but was designed to better compete in the emerging sport utility market making it a little more refined for urban driving.

We very rarely get in a original style vehicle, but this FJ60 is almost 100% stock from the factory, a true time capsule. All gauges work, heat warms up quickly and rear heater function properly. Rear wiper wipes clean along with the rear defroster, almost unheard of in these older FJ's. The tires are deep and the car shows no signs of abuse, just loving care.

The 4x4 engages properly. The brakes, steering and suspension are in good condition. The air conditioning blows ice cold and the heat warms up the cabin quickly. Nice stock chrome wheels, super clean engine compartment. The car carries the rare stripe kit that was offered by dealers and installed at the delivering dealer. The overall appearance is outstanding and honest with a lovely patina that no amount of money could duplicate. The body, chassis and frame are very solid as the truck was sold in California and remained in California its entire life which is evident by the “blue pate”. The engine bay and engine itself are in remarkable condition and has many more miles left to give the next owner. The chrome and rubber trim are in outstanding condition. Truck is a non-smoker vehicle and has a nice tow package and camper style mirrors. This lovely survivor should provide the new owner with years of on or off road enjoyment! These classic Land Cruisers are becoming harder and harder to find especially in this condition.
