1976 Porsche 914

The Porsche 914 is the ideal vehicle for the budge minded Porsche buyer, however the recent high demand for all Porsche's have brought the 914 values higher. The 914 was produced from 1970 till 1976 where the car had great feedback from their customers. Being the last year of production the numbers built were small and just over 4,000 914's were produced. Small upgrades and enhancements followed throughout the years and gave the cars more refinements and customer features over that time frame. Most improved aspect is the “side shifter” setup and gave better feedback to driver and more reliable and durable.

This 914 is a great buy for the person that wants to take it from its current condition and put some money and effort into it and have a great vehicle for the money. Sold new out of Joe Heishman's Porsche/Audi in Alexandria VA and sold on January 2nd 1976. Dealer service stamps represent the car being cared for and service by the delivering dealer up to 1978 with several maintenance items done. Vehicle was believed to be sold up to Illinois where it stayed until recently. The car runs and drives nicely and goes down the road with strong pulling and brakes properly. The car seems to be mechanically well taken care of and shows an older repaint at some point. This is not a show car and the price reflects that, however with some basic effort and new parts you would have a car to be proud of and ride the market up.
