1969 Plymouth GTX

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1969 Plymouth GTX Hardtop Coupe for purchase. The GTX burst on the scene in 1967 as a hot rod version of the Belvedere. In 1968, the GTX became curvier and solidified its place as a luxury muscle car when Plymouth introduced the more affordable and basic Road Runner. The GTX is much more well equipped than other classics of its day and offer a very fun driving experience. They also are exceedingly rare to find in excellent shape making them a highly sought after Mopar muscle classic.

This '69 GTX is an absolute stud! It is fully documented as a true 440ci V8 and Air Grabber car. It was sold new at South County Chrysler Plymouth in St Louis, Missouri. It has been part of a private collection since 2005. We have a full notebook of paperwork including the Broadcast sheet, Chrysler produced window sticker, operator's manual, original brochure, history, receipts, and more! It came from the dealership optioned in Saddle Bronze paint (same as now), bucket seats, console, Air Grabber hood, and more. It's powered by a period correct 440ci V8 that has been professionally rebuilt paired with a 727 automatic transmission. It also features TTI ceramic coated headers, new pitman arm & ball joint, new front stabilizer link pins and bushings, new stabilizer bushings, new KYB shocks, new fuel tank sending unit, new Flowmaster three chamber mufflers with new 3” aluminized pipes from the collectors to the new mufflers, new starter, new Legendary interior, new 26” HD three core radiator and expansion tank, new speedometer gear (to accommodate for different wheel & tire size), and much more.

This is a car that gets more impressive the closer you look at it. It has won an incredible amount of trophies at many prestigious events.
