1976 Porsche 914

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1976 Porsche 914 Targa for purchase. The perfect balance and plenty of fun factor is how these 914 2.0L's were advertised by Porsche and is still true today with these fun little two seaters. The 914 offered 3 variations with the 4 cylinder, the 1.7 and 1.8 were inexpensive enough to attract the budget buyer, but the person that wanted to save money but still have a fun car to drive in all gears optioned for the 2.0L that had more low-end power and more total horsepower.

This vehicle was sold new in April of 1976 to a doctor in Cincinnati, OH and stayed within the state of Ohio until recently when acquired by us. Car received routine Maintaince and stamps in the book show proper service done at the Porsche/Audi Dealer. Vehicle is in very impressive condition both inside and out and mechanically. The rare Anacona Blue Metallic paint shines nicely and has just the right metallic to compliment the even more rare leather / basket weave cloth interior. With a recent new carpet set that shows well. Car has the nice center console that you usually only saw in Appearance package vehicles, but this one does have it along with the fog lights. Newer headliner was recently installed that is nice looking and is tight fitting and compliments the newer door panels. Less than a year ago and less than 1400 miles a major service was performed by a trained Porsche mechanic. This service included; air filter, replaced selector lever seal and O-ring, new clutch cable, new front brake pads and rotors, new clutch kit, resurfaced flywheel, and rear sway bar links and bushings.

The market for a nice quality, rust free 914 with the larger 2.0L is only going up and they are getting harder to find with documentation, records, and solid frames and panels. Please call or email for more details!
