The Chevelle made its debut with a range of options and body styles that turned in to instant success. Produced by Chevrolet in three generations from 1964-1977. It was intended to compete with the Ford Fairland and Plymouth Belevedere.
The Super Sport variants or SS represented Chevrolet's entry into the mucscle car battle and were offered in both the coupe and convertible body styles. Starting in mid-1964, the Chevelle could be ordered with the sought after 327 cubic inch engine in both a 250hp or 300hp version.
This excellent example of the first year Chevelle has all of the right equipment including the 300HP 327 V8, excellent color combination with a power convertible top that operates flawlessly.
