1975 Chevrolet Corvette

The Chevrolet Corvette, known colloquially as the Vette, or Chevy Corvette, is a sports car manufactured by Chevrolet. The car has been produced through seven generations. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette is currently manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is the official sports car of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

So, the 1975 through 1975 models were advertised as the “More Efficient Corvette”. This particular Corvette is in fair shape and is an attractive color combination of Blue over Black. It is powered by a period correct 350 engine that has been stroked out to a 383, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. According to our intake inspection, this vehicle is showing all exterior lights – low and high, turn signals, tail lights, wipers, functioning seat, radio, windows and door locks to be working with no problems. Our test drive showed that it is strong in every gear, smooth shifting, sure-footed handling and excellent braking. Mechanically this Vette is spot on and can be driven anywhere with confidence.
