1980 Chevrolet Corvette

We all know and love the Corvette. New or Old the iconic sports car is something that most people know and some aspire to have. The C-3 is no exception except for the fact that the styling, safety, emissions and fuel consumption was being controlled by the Federal government for the first time which was a struggle for every automobile manufacturer at the time. Power was robbed to save on fuel economy and cost cutting measures were put in place. By the time the last of the C3's were being built from 1980 through 1983 power was back on a little bit of a rise so the L-82's were producing 230HP except for CA which had stricter emissions and were using a 180HP 305 Cubic Inch engine. Also for 1980, the front and rear bumpers were restyled and integrated into the body providing more aerodynamics for the car. This sweetheart is finished in Red over Black featuring the Automatic transmission. This car starts on a dime and sounds fantastic with the Side Pipes that now replace the factory mufflers. Also new is the updated radio that has great sound. This runs and drives as it should and is ready to be enjoyed. Also, with the rise of the collector car market currently these are going to continue to rise in value.
