GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1979 MG MGB for purchase. Production of the MGB began in October 1962 just after the production of the MGA had ceased. The purity of driving a 2-seat British Roadster is an addictive experience. Our servicemen in WWII in England brought home the passion and the market for these roadsters. MG couldn't produce enough of these to keep up with demand. Though often referred to as a roadster, the MGB had roll up windows, outside door handles and vent wings. A Mark II version was added in 1967, and the car stayed in production until 1980, becoming one of the most successful British sports cars of all time, with a total of over 300,000 cars being exported to the U.S. alone.

The MGB offered here has a brand new convertible top that was just professionally installed. The car runs and drives like a dream and holds to the road well. The car rides on its correct wheels with trim rings mounted to like new tires. The car comes with a spare tire, jack, chrome luggage rack, tonneau cover. The black vinyl interior shows well and the orange paint remains in good condition. The car has remained in Michigan most of its life and was well cared for. This is a car that won't break the bank and is a blast to drive.
