Originally known as the 124, the Fiat Spider was designed by famed Italian coach builder Pininfarina and debuted in 1966 at the Turin Auto Show. The car was remarketed as the Spider 2000 by Fiat and in 1979 with a 2.0 liter DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed transmission and rear wheel drive.

This car remains extremely well kept and remains nearly completely original with the exception of one possible repaint over 20 years ago in its original Fiat White factory color, over its original blue interior with black accents and dash. Overall the car remains in wonderful condition with the exterior paint, still showing very glossy and gives the car great eyeball. The original interior is excellent all original including excellent dash, excellent wood fascia, excellent original seats, driver seat showing minor wear and patina, and original carpet. The engine area is completely original and very tidy featuring original paint on the firewall and painted surfaces as well as factory Cosmoline. The trunk area is completely original as well included painted surfaces and still features the original liner, the original Jack and spare. The underside remains completely original with nothing to hide and remains clean, dry and excellent. Mechanically, at just over 46000 miles, this Fiat 2000 remains a spirited and proven driver that delivers the essence of the European open air driving experience. The car runs strong, shifts smooth, features tight suspension and steering and excellent braking. Other highlights include: Complete trim and badging, luggage rack, clock, factory wheels, original bumpers, and factory spot welds all still present and visible throughout the car which is a testament to the cars outstanding structure.
